Identity Thieves

Only the Netzarim — headquartered in Ra’anana, Israel — function within the legitimate Jewish community and its Orthodox beit din system. All others calling themselves — self-proclaimed — Netzarim are operating outside of the framework of the legitimate Jewish community and its uninterrupted and legitimate succession of the beit din system ordained through Mosheh Rabeinu at Har Sinai.

Thus, all others calling themselves Netzarim set themselves up as rivals of the legitimate Jewish community and its Orthodox beit din system. All who displace (or replace) the authority of the legitimate Jewish community and its uninterrupted and legitimate succession of the beit din system ordained through Mosheh Rabeinu at Har Sinai are practicers of Displacement (or Replacement) Theology!

Therefore, no group other than the Netzarim (headquartered in Ra’anana, Israel) can possibly be legitimate Netzarim. No web site other than www.netzarim.co.il is a legitimate Netzarim web site.

As a service to both the Jewish Community and non-Jews who are sincerely seeking to follow the authentic teachings of Ribi Yehoshua, the Netzarim will maintain the following alphabetized list of deceivers who falsely pose as Netzarim / Nazarenes. We welcome reports of such groups, additions and filling in the gaps in the groups below (including real names, email addresses and cities), and inquiries about individuals claiming to be Netzarim and/or practicing Nazarene Judaism. We will confirm legitimate Netzarim. Any individual not recognized by us who poses as a Netzarim or Nazarene Jew will be added to this list.

There are two ways to be removed from this list of imposters, deceivers, slanderers, false teachers and frauds:

1. Slanderers must stop lying about the Netzarim, apologize on the record and make a reasonable attempt to notify everyone whom they have misled of their apology.
   
   
2. Imposters and others must stop posing as Netzarim and/or practicers of Nazarene Judaism or accept Netzarim requirements.
   
   

All of the following are members in good standing of the synagogue described in Rev. 2.9 & 3.9.

• www.nazareneisrael.org/, this URL is run by a Christian named Norman who believes in the Trinity (though refusing to call it that) and has nothing to do with legitimate Netzarim in Israel (www.netzarim.co.il).
  
  
• www.netzarim.com, a URL in the U.S., has nothing whatsoever to do with legitimate Netzarim in Israel (www.netzarim.co.il). This imposter site by an anonymous sponsor features an anti-missionary page written by a "Yirmeyahu Akiva Ben-Avraham Avinu" who definitely ISN’T Paqid Yirmeyahu Ben-Avraham Avinu Ben-David. This site is clearly nothing more than an excuse to waylay people looking for the genuine Netzarim site.
  
  
• Beit Ha Midrash Netzarim Judaism Chatroom, title of webpage that falsely claims to be Judaism, is not recognized in any branch of the legitimate Jewish community and has no connection to legitimate Netzarim.

  • Leader: James Trimm, Hurst, TX USA falsely claims to be a Jew based on non-Orthodox (patrilineal) criteria, which doesn’t satisfy the definition of Orthodox Judaism. Mr. Trimm is a gentile in the eyes of the Orthodox Jewish community. A web search of "Saint John Chrysostom Theological Seminary" exposes the fraudulence of his claimed multiple doctorates from that "seminary." Aside from being Christian and irrelevant, his "doctorate" is fake—from a fake "seminary" with a dead faculty that only James Trimm and a couple of his cronies corroborate. As a first-class con-man, Trimm has started "conventions" of fake "synagogues," fake "beit dins," fake "yeshivas," and fake "rabbinic ordinations" forming a circle of several close friends that all corroborate each other but have no legitimacy outside his small circle.

• Hebrew Gospel of Matthew chat forum, apparently disbanded, intent on injecting "the Gospel" into their version of "Hebrew St. Matthew"; is not recognized in any branch of the legitimate Jewish community and has no connection to legitimate Netzarim.
  
  
  • Forum included 6 people in Spain and 4 in Australia who still falsely pose as Netzarim and claim to attend Orthodox synagogues... all of whom conceal their Displacement Theology inherent in any "Gospel" of "Matthew." None of these individuals have come forward to identify themselves, or the Orthodox rabbis who supposedly "accept" them — betraying either a false claim or knowing full well that we will report them to the rabbis and they will be immediately expelled. This group of imposter-Netzarim, practicing Displacement Theology, has deliberately infiltrated the Orthodox Jewish community through false claims, concealment and deception. (The former leader of the chat forum has publicly declared that he doesn’t agree with the 10 who are masquerading as Netzarim, that he no longer is in contact with them and that he himself "does not pose as a Netzarim." We have, therefore, removed his name from our Imposter’s Gallery.)
    
    
• Hebrew-Roots.com falsely claims to be Judaism, is not recognized in any branch of the legitimate Jewish community and has no connection to legitimate Netzarim; publishes an imposter posing as "netzarim."
  
  
• HONJ ("The Household of Orthodox Nazarene Judaism") is linked in their home page to SANJ, holds blatantly Christian doctrines, and falsely claims to be Judaism (much less Orthodox!) Incredibly, this web site features a portrait of Khab"d (Chabad) R. Menachem Schneerson at the top of their home page!!! Is "Moreh Ben-Friedman" a member of Khab"d and the site a Khab"d "dirty trick" to defame the Netzarim?  If not, Khab"d would sue HONJ and "Moreh Ben Friedman."
  
  
  • Leader: "Moreh ben-Friedman" his statement of belief includes belief in the divinity of Yesh"u: "full spiritual embodiment of the Attributes (Sefirot) of the invisible Eternal (Ayn Sof). Yahshua is the 'Living Torah' and thus is divine, as the Torah is divine." He is not a Jew in good standing in the legitimate Jewish community.

Neither Bright’s "Institute for Scriptural Research" nor the "Ancient Hebrew Research Center" he mentions have any connection with the Netzarim. (2004.10.08 update: Jeff A. Benner, Administrator and owner of the "Ancient Hebrew Research Center" web site, has advised us that he has never even heard of Jason Bright.) Bright poses as a "rabbi," however he is not recognized as a rabbi in any branch of the legitimate Jewish community and has no connection to legitimate Netzarim. He is not a Jew in good standing in the legitimate Jewish community.
