Sir, -I am an American pastor who just wants to let someone in Israel know that I pray for peace in your country. I support your government's sovereign right to defend itself against terrorists who seek to destroy Israel. I am ashamed of UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan's recent statements and I felt compelled to declare my support for your efforts to destroy terrorism in Israel. I love my country and my president, but I was disturbed by his comments the other day stating that Israel's actions weren't being "helpful." I believe that Israel is doing what it feels is best and I support you.
