I realize that the several questions/messages I've posed were preemptive of the "Examining Assumptions" study portion...or they simply were uninteresting. At any rate, here's my report on TCOTCATS:

James Parkes' "The Conflict of the Church and the Synagogue" is an essential resource for those desiring honest assessment of the real formation of the church - ever importantly beyond the merely political Protestant reformation break-away from the RCC. It provides, if only inadvertently (the author seems to hold out hope for xtianity), clarification of not only faults, but outright falsehood. These are doubtless the most significant, yet clearly - judging by common dialogue and practice, the least known and understood points of justified contestation against the religion. This book presents a stark contrast between the sparkle-eyed, wool-blanketed rhetoric of xtianity and the desperate facts of it's true tooth-and-nail beginnings, exposing it's enduring illegitimacy. Thank you for directing the public to this sobering (especially in that it's all too obscure) testimony.
