NY Times Advocates Immorality

In its editorial entitled “Rally Round Intolerance,” The New York Times proclaimed itself a cesspool of immorality. In its depraved sense of “tolerance,” The New York Times villified Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, describing as “outrageous” his equating of homosexuality with bigamy, polygamy, incest and adultery.

Tolerance is the antonym of bigotry, not the synonym of depravity. Tolerance is the willingness to treat with respect those who may be different in gender, race or creed. Tolerance isn’t a ticket to Sodom and the line shouldn’t be permitted to blur. Revulsion from such depravity of western “permissiveness” – into which Christianity and non-Orthodox forms of “Judaism” have prostituted themselves – is the principle recruiting attraction and motivation of Muslim fundamentalism.

Let’s put things in their Biblical perspective. Sen. Santorum was wrong. Bigyny (not bigamy) and polygyny (not polygamy) are Bible-approved. The Biblical patriarchs practiced polygyny. It was Roman heathens who put the stop to it. Incest and adultery are prohibited according to the Bible. Homosexual practice, by contrast, is Biblically prohibited as an abomination beyond ordinary Biblical prohibitions. According to the Bible, homosexual practice is outrageously depraved while bigyny and polygyny are approved. The Bible defines homosexual practice, by contrast, as “outrageously” depraved far beyond incest and adultery.

Closer to homosexual practice, though still not as depraved as homosexual practice by Biblical standards, is pedophilia. Neither pedophiles nor homosexuals violate either civil law or Biblical prohibitions as long as they refrain from indulging in their depravity. The depravity is what is prohibited, and it is homosexual activity that is “outrageously” depraved, an “abomination” beyond other Biblical prohibitions.

It is a sad that the New York Times has degenerated into a harbinger of the depravity of Sodom and Gomorrah.

I urge every reader to write a letter expressing outrage at the depravity of The New York Times and to write letters to your state senators and Congresspersons, as well as to Sen. Santorum, expressing your support for a moral America fit for decent families.
