Christianity Embraces Homosexual Practice – Part 1

2003.08.05 – Yesterday’s article in The Economist magazine ("Godly Gays Seek Brotherly Love", 2003.08.04) demonstrates how completely politicians and the Christian Church have sanitized the Bible from public – primarily Christian and Church – discourse.

Speaking of the struggle by politicians and the Christian Church "to reconcile society’s growing liberalism towards homosexuality" with "social conservatives," all references to the Bible have been eliminated from the discourse. Hedonism is glossed over with the euphemistic "society’s growing liberalism." The Bible as authority has been replaced with "social conservatives."

This demonstrates the extent to which the Christian Church (first Anglicans in England, now Episcopalians in the U.S.), and Christians individually, have become alienated even towards their own Διαθηκη Καινη (NT); the "natural" result of their alienation from the Bible two millennia ago.

Catholics will surely argue that the pope rejects this trend. However, the Catholic Church is clearly not prepared to declare that Anglicans and Episcopalians are not part of the Christian Church. Thus, even the pope thereby admits that, while his sect resists – for now, the Christian Church, per se, embraces homosexuality. The Catholic Church is under siege not only by homosexuals externally, but beset by the revelations that the Catholic priesthood is riddled with closet pedophilic homosexuals. At best, the pope’s official opposition to homosexuality – empty and devoid of teeth – is delusional. More likely, however, official Catholic "opposition" to homosexuality is hypocrisy amounting to no more than sweeping the problem of closet pedophilic homosexual priests back under the rug – where it has been allowed to thrive unofficially, concealed from the public and their own "straight" Christians, for millennia.

This inexorable conclusion to ages of apostasy is becoming increasingly conspicuous and impossible to continue glossing over. The Christian Church’s true god has always been not a trinity (Zeus to "the Father" + Horus to Jesus + Aten, the Sun spirit and sun-disk behind the head of Jesus in painting and sculpture idols, to the "Holy Ghost) – most always forget the 4^th entity, the Mother of God (Isis to Mary), but a duality: Hellenist syncretism driven by politically manipulated hedonism. Since the time of Constantine, Christian doctrine has been synonymous with, often being dragged along by, Hellenist "political correctness," i.e. politically controlled hedonism – "if it feels good and I want to do it Jesus will save me; so I can enjoy doing whatever I want." No matter that "sodomy" was named after סְדוֹם.

The wisdom of the Bible (wa-Yi•qᵊr•âꞋ 18.22) in defining the practice of homosexuality as a תּוֹעֵבָה is becoming apparent. Homosexuality is on the rise. Society aggressively markets forbidden sex from an early age. Many eventually find that heterosexual sex, when it is no longer forbidden, fails to satisfy their appetite for forbidden sex, like various fantasies and adultery, and turn to the next horizon of forbidden sex, homosexual sex, followed by pedophilia or rape.

Now homosexuality, in becoming acceptable even to the Church, is losing its attraction, its hedonistic thrill potency, as a forbidden vice... and those who have become addicted to forbidden sex are now turning to the next forbidden sex horizon for a more potent sex thrill; some to masochism, some to sadism, others to pedophilia, to incest, and to rape. Already, some abductions and animal killings probably reflect an early trend toward increasing rape, necrophilia and bestiality.

All of these are following the same unbounded ("freed" of religious laws) and insatiable hedonist trend as homosexuality did in the past: the next level of hedonistic forbidden-sex thrills. In recent decades, homosexuality rode on the coattails of relaxed heterosexual sex. Now, masochism, sadism, pedophilia, incest, rape and perhaps much worse are riding into society on the coattails of sodomy.

How can anyone wonder why religious Jews and Muslims find such society repugnant? Even Sâ•tânꞋic? Religious Jews find such society a תּוֹעֵבָה. The authentic – historical – first-century Tor•âhꞋ-teaching Pharisaic RibꞋi Yᵊho•shuꞋa certainly never taught such Tor•âhꞋ-less decadence.

The world lost its way two millennia ago. Now, however, the apostasy has finally matured to such a gross dragon that it is increasingly impossible for a growing number of Christians to continue ignoring; and many are finally turning to the only social antidote and political-religious solution: י‑‑ה of Israel and His Tor•âhꞋ. Christians who find themselves wearing a coat of תּוֹעֵבָה should shed it, clean themselves up and follow Tor•âhꞋ.

The glaring truth is that תּוֹעֵבָה is no longer merely an increasingly large faction of individual Christians. In officially ordaining תּוֹעֵבָה, Christianity and the Church have exposed the inherent and inexorable end of their two millennia of apostasy: תּוֹעֵבָה! No different from סְדוֹם, this is where a hedonist society winds up.

Even worse, if that’s possible, the Church is embracing practitioners of תּוֹעֵבָה as euphemistically described in The Economist – "godly gays." Describing gays as godly – god-like – implies that their god is, like-"gays," a homosexual god or god of homosexuality; the very practice bי‑‑ה described in His Tor•âhꞋ as a תּוֹעֵבָה! The Christian Church has made תּוֹעֵבָה their god! The Christian Church has exposed its true, apostate, face: the Christian Church, not י‑‑ה or His Tor•âhꞋ (lᵊ-ha•vᵊdilꞋ), is the תּוֹעֵבָה! This is the "natural," and inevitable, result of rejecting Tor•âhꞋ to "follow one’s own heart and own eyes" in hedonism.

The only question is, after two millennia of apostasy, will individual Christians ever recognize their apostasy and break the bonds (!) of social pressures to get out of Christianity and its Displacement Theology of pretend ("spiritualized") "Israel," with its pretend "salvation," to follow the real-world י‑‑ה of Israel, the real-world Creator of the universe, and His Tor•âhꞋ?
