B.C.E. 1st century — RabꞋi Hi•leilꞋ, when asked by a gentile to be converted while the RabꞋi stood on one foot, replied: "That which you eschew, don’t inflict on your fellow! That's the entirety of Tōr•âhꞋ. What remains is pei•rush•âhꞋ. Now, go-weave your lifetime-learning-practice.”

Uttering name of other ël•oh•imꞋ
You shall keep sho•meirꞋ over everything that I've said to you. You must not commemorate names of other ël•oh•imꞋ, they must not be heard from your mouth.

Optional parental preparation:
Outside of Hebrew Israel, it is overwhelming how much, and how many, idol names have embedded themselves in virtually every foreign language (which includes English). Except in Hebrew (weekdays are numbered), every day of the week embeds the name of a Hellenist & Roman idol-deity! Jesus is the name of a Hellenist-Roman idol-deity. (That's why Jews substitute YëshꞋ"u.) Similarly, "xmas" must be substituted for the "xian" (!) winter holiday. The xian spring holiday also hides an idol name. Avoiding saying these names makes it difficult to even communicate in order to educate them. "B.C." cannot be used with a date. See many other examples in the "History Museum" pages of the Netzarim website (www.netzarim.co.il).
Questions you might anticipate that your child might raise and be prepared to discuss:
What does "commemorate" mean?
What does "utter" mean?
