'Messianic Judaism' Yield Peace?

'Jewish Faith'? Or Just Christianity In Disguise?

2000.08.22 – I receive J for J news letters out of interset now and then.Years ago I even volunteered for them in England. I now do not agree with their foundations, but still there are many interesting accounts of Jewish people finding peace in seeing messiah, and also so pleased to return to their Jewish faith.

[Pâ•qid Yi•rᵊmᵊyâhu] In your last message you indicated that you had ordered Who Are the Netzarim? (WAN)? On the other hand, you opted not to be included in our email Alert Lists? This statement, and your questions below, suggest that you couldn't have read WAN? You're sending out mixed signals.

As for finding peace, I deal with those who have been lured into such false peace – which betrayed them in time of testing. "There are many interesting accounts of Jewish people finding peace in" a myriad of other religions as well. All of these, including 'Messianic Judaism,' are a false sense of peace which is like a foundation of quicksand. It looks good but is treacherous, giving way as soon as one needs to stand on it.

Your entire perspective is still based on misconceptions and mistaken assumptions. It is impossible to answer your questions without first remedying the host of underlying misconceptions. It isn't practical to do this by manually typing it in. So I must refer you back to WAN – which, indications are, you still haven't read.

M.F. – Do you not think it possible that G-d may be allowing this for our understanding right now?

[Pâ•qid Yi•rᵊmᵊyâhu] If é‑‑ä didn't allow it, then it couldn't happen. But to conclude that it is "for our understanding" is non sequitur.

é‑‑ä also allowed the Sho•âh. Certainly you wouldn't argue that the Sho•âh was necessary "for our understanding"???

It was the free will of evil men that brought about the Sho•âh, and it is likewise man's free will which causes his own blindness.

é‑‑ä allows such things because He chose never to contravene man's free will but, rather, to contain its expression (and any resulting evil) in the physical domain of our physical universe like a quarantine area in a lab that can be sanitized and destroyed.

M.F. – It is also like a blindness but there is bound to be a light shed at the right time to Jewish people to come "out"and see things from a more biblical perspective.

Maybe that time is not just now????just a thought

[Pâ•qid Yi•rᵊmᵊyâhu] "Jewish people to come ‘out’ and see things from a more biblical perspective”?!? It is conspicuous that you couldn't have read WAN. News flash, M.F.: the observant (i.e., Orthodox) Jews among the "Jewish people" are the only ones in the world who do see things from the Biblical perspective. It is you who are just beginning to emerge from the darkness and get a glimmer of things from the Biblical perspective – but you are still holding on to many mistaken misconceptions which are hold-overs from the darkness. After all, not everyone is in darkness. Clearly, therefore, there is Light for those who have the eyes to perceive it. ("He who has eyes, let him see.")

Blindness is caused by inability, or refusal, to perceive light – following one's own 'eyes,' which are blind to Light, instead of the Light of Tor•âh.

Blindness isn't caused by, and doesn't imply, lack of light / darkness. (Indeed, if darkness was pervasive then we would have no concept of blindness at all.) The Light of Tor•âh has been all around all along. Therefore, the whole notion of waiting for Light to come leads to eternal blindness because this permits the real cause of the blindness – one's own free-will rejection of the Light – to be evaded one's entire life. The blame is shifted from following one's own blind 'eyes' to blame the problem on é‑‑ä as not providing Light.

Scripture states that é‑‑ä doesn't change. It is man who changes, not the Light – which is é‑‑ä and His Tor•âh. Therefore, whatever Light emanates to man, or doesn't, is unchanging.

Your notion that Light isn't here and one must wait for Light is misconceived.

People who are in darkness are in darkness as a consequence of their exercise of their own free will. They blind themselves to the Light.

No one can seriously argue that any person should be left in his or her blindness.

Completing our Kha•vᵊr•utâ online Distance Learning will enable you to also see much more clearly.
