2002.12.24 – Members of a group of Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim Arabs warned last weekend that “It’s strange to see that many Israelis haven’t drawn the lessons from the events of the last two years,” [group head Zuheir] Hamdan told The Jerusalem Post.
“An Israeli withdrawal [from east Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim] would bring all the gunmen of Fatah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Popular Front to Damascus Gate, Mount Scopus and Mount of Olives. They will turn Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim into AzꞋâh (Khamastan) (‘Gaza’).”
2002.12.13 – a look in the rear-view mirror for a préjà vu – Pres. Bush promised during his campaign to start the process of moving the US embassy from Tël •vivꞋ to Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim. Instead, despite the fact that even the Arabs of Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim oppose dividing the Holy City and warn that dividing the Holy City will turn it into another Lebanon, Pres. Bush has, under pressure from the U.S. State Dept. (namely Sec. of State Colin Powell) repeatedly, betrayed Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim by halting the process others have tried to get started, three times postponing the move mandated by US law. In 2002.10, Pres. Bush rejected sanctions of a new law requiring the US to recognize Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim as Israel’s capital. Fox News already has the courage to do so, bravely broadcasting periodically that Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim is the capital of Yi•sᵊr•â•eilꞋ !!! Pres. Bush is expected to once again postpone moving the embassy this month. Time for all of our armchair warriors to act. Let him hear from you.
Postponing this move serves only to tantalize West Bank and Gazan Arabs with the prospect of forcing Jews to abandon Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim with the collusion of the US, encouraging the ‘Palestinian’ appetite for gains through terrorism rather than inhibiting ‘Palestinian’ terrorism. American vacillation, repeatedly defying Congress with waivers to continue refusing to move the American Embassy from Tël •vivꞋ to Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim fuels Muslim ambitions – driving Muslim terrorism!
