U.S. Religious Orientation Shifting

2004.07.22 New York (AP) – “Between 1993 and 2002, the share of Americans who said they were Protestant dropped from 63 percent to 52%, after years of remaining generally stable, according to a study released [3rdday] by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago. Other results were: Roman Catholics steady at 25%; other religions — including Islam, Orthodox Christianity, or Eastern faiths — up from 3% to 7%; and Jews at just under 2%.”

The numbers showing Protestants dropping while Catholics hold steady may hint that Americans are forsaking the more recent theology seeking more ancient truth. However dreadfully slowly, perhaps they’re coming around to recognize what we’ve already found and have been presenting to them. Or, dare I say, might our publishings be having a snowballing effect? Even to see through past religious deceptions to the truth, it takes more time to turn the entire world around – even for a "second coming" restoration of the spirit and teachings of Ribi Yᵊho•shua, the Mâ•shiakh.
